The notable European Tech startup fundings for the week ending 13/5/23 featuring funding details for Voltfang, Endurosat, MediShout, and eight other European deals representing £144M in new funding that you absolutely need to know about.


Cable – $11.0M

London-based Cable Tech develops a financial risk control platform that helps reduce the amount of financial crime. Founded by Katie Savitz and Natasha Vernier in , Cable has now raised a total of $16.3M in total equity funding and is backed by CRV, Jump Capital, and Stage 2 Capital.


EnduroSat – $10.0M

Sofia-based EnduroSat designs and engineers spacecraft for business applications and space exploration missions. Founded by Raycho Raychev and Stanimir Gantchev in , EnduroSat has now raised a total of $15.6M in total equity funding and is backed by Ceecat Capital and Freigeist Capital.


Everseen – €65.0M

Cork-based Everseen provides visual AI solutions to improve retail business processes and prevent theft. Founded by Alan O’Herlihy in , Everseen has now raised a total of $88.6M in total equity funding and is backed by Crosspoint Capital Partners.

Viceversa – €10.0M

Milan-based Viceversa provides capital to European digital businesses to support companies in sustainable and ethical growth. Founded by Matteo Masserdotti, Patrick David, Pedro Machado Salvi, and Pietro Pogliani in , Viceversa has now raised a total of €13.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Azimut Libera Impresa, CDP Venture Capital, Fabrick, Italian Angels for Growth, Kairos Partners, Paolo Galvani, and Raffaele Terrone.


Odin – £2.4M

London-based Odin is an investment marketplace for venture capital. Founded by Dom Bowcock, Mary Lin, Patrick Ryan, and Patrick Ryan in , Odin has now raised a total of £2.4M in total equity funding and is backed by Alex Macdonald, Desigan Chinniah, Dorothy Chou, Haatch, IPQ Capital, Jelle Prins, Johan Lorenzen, June Angelides, Kiana Sharifi, Kirsten Connell, Lily Shaw, Lina Chong, Marcus Exall, Material V, Matt Penneycard, Michael Tefula, Michele Attisani, O’Shaughnessy Ventures, Omid Ashtari, Peter Zhegin, Reece Chowdhry, Sarah Drinkwater, and Warrick Shanly.


MediShout – £4.3M

London-based MediShout is a digital platform to improve operational efficiencies, so healthcare staff can focus on patient care. Founded by Ash Kalraiya in , MediShout has now raised a total of $6.9M in total equity funding and is backed by Atomico’s Angel Programme, Episode 1, KHP Ventures, and Nickleby Capital.

Prewave – €18.0M

Vienna-based Prewave is an AI risk and sustainability monitoring platform for purchasing, supply chain, and sustainability managers. Founded by Harald Nitschinger and Lisa Smith in , Prewave has now raised a total of €29.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Creandum, Kompas, seed + speed Ventures, Segnalita, Speedinvest, Ventech, Working Capital, and xista science ventures.


ThreatFabric – €11.5M

Amsterdam-based ThreatFabric provides banks with the expertise and tools to detect known and unknown threats. Founded by Cengiz Sahin in , ThreatFabric has now raised a total of €11.5M in total equity funding and is backed by 10x Founders, 14Peaks Capital, ABN AMRO Ventures, and Motive Ventures.


Wethenew – €20.0M

Paris-based Wethenew is a French marketplace dedicated to selling streetwear and limited edition sneakers. Founded by David Benhaim and Michael Holzmann in , Wethenew has now raised a total of €31.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Antoine Griezmann, Athletic Ventures, C4 Ventures, Chalhoub Group, and Singular.


Voltfang – €5.0M

Aachen-based Voltfang develops home storage solutions for private houses using recycled traction batteries. Founded by Afshin Doostdar, David Oudsandji, and Roman Alberti in , Voltfang has now raised a total of €5.3M in total equity funding and is backed by AENU, Aurum Ventures, Eviny Ventures, Helen Ventures, and PT1 – PropTech1 Ventures.
