Piclo – £8.3M

Piclo, a marketplace for energy flexibilty services, has raised £8.3M in Series B funding led by Clean Growth Fund and . Founded by James Johnston, Andy Kilner and Alice Tyler in 2013, Piclo has now raised a total of £15.9M in reported equity funding.


Patch – £3M

Patch, a workspace provider that’s looking to build a national network of neighborhood coworking venues near people’s homes, has raised £3M in venture funding from investors that include JamJar Investments, Triple Point Ventures, Blue Wire Capital, Active Partners, Vectr7 Investment Partners, Emma Woods, and Peter Roberts. Patch was founded by Freddie Fforde in 2020.

Medwise.ai, a search platform for medical professionals, has raised £1M in venture funding from investors that include SFC Capital, StartUp Health, Calm/Storm Ventures, Finance Yorkshire, Deeptech Labs, Michelle Tempest, and Christopher Kelly. Founded by Daniel Duma, Hon Lung Keith Tsui, and Luis R. Ulloa in 2019, Medwise.ai has now raised a total of £1.3M in reported equity funding.


BlackCurve – £750K

BlackCurve, a platform for automating pricing decisions for e-commerce companies, has raised £750K in venture funding from investors that include . Founded by Charles Huthwaite and Philip Huthwaite in 2016, BlackCurve has now raised a total of £3.8M in reported equity funding.
